Guard gatekeepers, as the name suggests, guard certain places or alters. They may keep certain alters from being able to enter parts of headspace or may keep alters safe from other alters. For example; If an alter in a system went dormant and there was a gatekeeper for guarding dormant alters then that gatekeeper may guard that alter's body if their system leaves it behind.
